Stop Crying Over Me

Wow. Okay, I think this day marked the point of recovery from the short detour which everyday life has taken for me, recently--first, the trip to the hospital last week, second, the food poisoning and lastly, having to deal with Organic Chemistry.

Because I have no classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays, I decided to take the opportunity to hang out with Keav in Greenhills today and watch Rock of Ages. I quite liked this movie--it was a little cheesy and over-the-top but hey, the 80s was all about being cheesy and over-the-top so I didn't mind it. I liked it, actually. Tom Cruise was definitely the star of that show--50 has never looked so good on anyone. Paul Giamatti was also amazing and surprisingly hate-able. Alec Baldwin and Russel Brand were super endearing as well. Over-all, a likey. Also, on a side note: the theater in Greenhills is wonderful. I wanted to live in that seat! It's also great if you're going with your significant other because you can raise the armrests and cuddle and be comfy while watching the movie. And the seats themselves are just so plush and wide--I could go on all day.

Anyway, for easy-commuting but rain-ready purposes, today I wore this Folded & Hung playsuit that I bought off of Lula Bop's with these old Terranova maroon stockings and Fioni boots from Payless. And on top of that ensemble, I threw on the Donna Karan jacket from the WinaWonders Store and I definitely felt ready to rock. In fact, this jacket really tied my day together, I think--Sherrie from Rock of Ages was wearing a denim jacket in almost every scene she was in. :))

You Can't Cover That With Make Up

Off to school today. :) I'm anticipating a loooong day of walking around, lining up at the accounting office, reactivating my one and only abusive husband: my MyLaSalle account and delivering stuff to my lovely customers. I'm also meeting up with the lovely ladies at PriceTag later to get some of the goodies that I bought from their latest collection (I shall show you all tomorrow, as this weekend is yet another fun-filled one).

Later tonight, the bestfriend is sleeping over and we're having a Gossip Girl marathon--like old times. Super excited! Cannot wait for this day to be over. I've got a terrible case of TGIF.

Speaking of thank Gods the package I ordered from VLM arrived yesterday--after a debacle concerning the tight security in my infernal village (land of seclusion) and the darling delivery guy who got lost and was super flustered so I ended up serving him merienda--and I'm super happy about it. I ordered one of their unicorn rings (I'm thinking you get the Fall Behind Me reference now? ) and being a total Unibuff, I'm thrilled. :)) Photo below.

Count the Headlights on the Highway

I got this beautiful Folded & Hung playsuit from Lula Bop's last week. I love the print! The flowers on the upper half are so beautiful and very reminiscent of the prints that were used a lot during the flower power era. Playsuit is worn with black wool stockings, gray platform sandals and my gray knit beanie. :)

Busy, busy day today--going thrifting with Trizha, picking up Nautical bracelets from
Things That Matter and delivering more items from the previous collection. And then, to cap the day off--Chemistry followed by dinner in Makati with my best trio Trish, Joy & Marz to celebrate Marz's coming of age (it was her 21st birthday last Wednesday). :D

Manic Monday! Hope everyone has a good week! :)
