It All Seems So Silly To Me Now

How do I even begin to describe this day? I woke up with droplets of water falling on my face--and that was when I realized that the ceiling was leaking from this morning's terrible rainstorm. Delicious. One thing I hate about sleeping in my parents room (which I do so I can surf the net until the wee ours of the morning without them turning the router off) is that their ceiling has this one weakspot that no amounts of sealant can fix; we just had it repaired a couple of months ago and there it goes again. This was at around 5:00 am.

Because the rain was so hard, I was convinced that there was no class for me today. And so in my half-sleep, I decided to give up on making it to school by 8:00 am to finish my homework. I ended up waking up at 7:30 and skipping my first class but making it in time for my second one and completing the assignment. xD Also, I dressed TOTALLY for rainy weather today: I wore a sweater and sneakers. I haven't worn sneakers in years--I can still recall the last time I did it; it was in 2009 pre-Ondoy (the gigantic storm that nearly drowned Metro Manila, for my readers who aren't from the Philippines).

And wow: I arrived in Taft and the sun was shining its happy little head off. It wasn't as hot as usual and there was a nice breeze coming in but I was wearing a sweater so it's not like I felt it anyway. And it didn't rain again the whole day. Crazyyyyy. So, yeah--there is no outfit post today but there is one from yesterday. :) I went to Molito with my brother and dad to do the groceries and eat ice cream. I like this outfit very, very much. So breezy but with a hint of gray so it seemed apt for the rainy season. ;)

Wearing: Marilyn top | Greenhills, chiffon print skirt | vintage, shoes | Session Road, bag | vintage (my granny's), bracelets | WinaWonders Store
