Today, I went to Pampangga with my family for the Manese Grand Reunion--my maternal grandmother's maiden last name was Manese; it was a reunion with our very, very extended family and an attempt at re-tracing our roots. I was quite excited for this because I wanted to see how they would lay out our family tree.
Also, I was excited because today was Keav's first time to hang out with the entire (and I mean ENTIRE) family; that turned out very well. The day started off a bit rough (as do all family trips)--with last minute reminders and people waking up late and rushing but all's well that ends well. :) We were off to pick Keav up at Ayala by around 8:30 and were safely in Pampangga by 12:00 noon.

Because today was the EDSA celebration, traffic was pretty terrible. By the time we got to the reunion, most of the program had passed so we just hung out in one of the gazebos aside for the most part. The food was delicious, as with most kapangpangan celebrations--lechon, paella, fish fillet, lengua, adobo.
The weather was hot, as per usual on the central plains of Luzon.

We got back to Metro Manila around 4:00 pm; Keav and I got dropped off at Ayala--that is a whole other entry. I am exhausted. Goodnight, world! :)
