Hi, everyone! :) So as promised, here is a shoe giveaway. These are shoes that I've bought over the past month and sadly discovered, don't fit me (they're too big!!!). They are however very pretty and have never been properly worn so what better way to make use of them than to give them away to two lucky readers! :D I'm giving away the following:

1. A pair of size 7 brown wedges

I got these as an attempt at buying brown shoes (all my shoes are white or bright-colored and I really wanted something neutral). I got these online a couple of months ago but when they arrived in the mail--they didn't fit and usually I'm willing to go put up with discomfort from shoes like that but it's difficult with something open-toed. So I'm giving these away. :)

 2. Vintage MJ shoes, size 7.5

I got this pair on a vintage store trip with Trizha a couple of months ago and these shoes were so adorable we ended up fighting over them--only to find that they fit neither of us properly. Life does have a funny way of dishing out karma. :)) I absolutely envy whoever will get their hands on this pair!

Giveaway | Material Girl Winner!

Because today's been such a terrible day, I decided to take a couple of funny photos of myself, typing away at our mini home office. This is how I look in my spare time--usually with some sort of fabric (whether a scarf or a hat) to keep my hair from my face (it gives me pimplleeeees) + my glasses which I'm supposed to wear all the time but always forget to put on except in Chem Lab and when I'm using the computer at home.

Brightside Entry | When It's Worth It

I am a self-confessed workaholic. I'm the type of person who isn't comfortable waking up past 7 and sleeping before 12. I also have a very anxious personality so I like knowing when things are going to happen and what's going to happen and things like that--which is why it is such a huge risk for me to have this blog up (risk to my sanity, I mean). Fashion/Blogging for a living is a slow but steady kind of thing. It's not the type of industry where you'll see the results of the things you do ASAP and that can make you feel like you want to quit but (let me take something from the Hufflepuff in me) hard work, given that it's also smart work (hello again Ravenclaw) almost inevitably reaps reward. In the past 24 hours, I've gotten a couple of offers that I can't talk about yet but which I'm so grateful to have gotten. These opportunities are so exciting that I almost can't believe they are being offered to me (not that I'm complaining). My last night at the Acacia (Friday night) was a sleepless one; I was so giddy I couldn't get to bed. Now I'm here, in my mom's home office, typing this up and I just feel so grateful and so pumped. Thank you to everyone who reads this blog!!! THANK YOU!

I'm also always happy when good things happen to the people I love and yesterday Trizha was part of the Top 3 Most Sold at the Indieket Comicon! :D So happy for her!

I also want to congratulate all of you out there who are doing what you do and loving it or hating it with a passion but doing it anyway. Thank you for sticking around and I hope that your lives are beautiful and that you find fulfillment in whatever it is you decide to do with your life--whether it's operating on someone's heart or mopping the bathrooms at the mall.

Out For A Bit

Hey, everyone! I hope you've all been having a great Saturday so far--I know I have. :) I'm spending the night with my sister at the Acacia Hotel here in Alabang. I'm really excited to head there because (as anyone who lives down south can tell you) Bellevue's probably the only other hotel in Alabang that there is to go. I've driven past the exterior many times (it's right outside the gate of my village) but I've never been inside. I'll definitely keep you guys updated. :D Unfortunately, this also means I'll be MIA for the rest of the evening.

Favorite Things | Posterifico!

Forgive me for being a bit self-promoting but because Trizh is out of the country (hello from Korea, my dear), I've been forced to experiment and make my own posters--and it isn't easy but I'm very proud of these. For my giveaway with Price Tag I made most of the posters myself (as well as took the photos) and while of course, I cannot compare with the beautiful, dreamy aesthetics of my lovely TKo, I'm pretty proud of myself for making these. :))

I cannot wait for Trizha to get back! I'm also really excited for this week. :) So many DIYs and things planned. It feels so nice to be productive. Also, my weekend was muchos relaxing! A shout out to the brothers Valdes who I hadn't seen in forever--it was great seeing you guys. :D

Shot Through The Heart

Because I'm on mini-vacation today, I had to opt for a very early morning shoot for me & Price Tag's giveaway (which is in the post below this, if you'd like to join--we're giving away the whole look minus the sandals). Murph and I have been friends since we were awkward, oily-faced tweens trying to learn how to pluck their eyebrows so it was super fun. Also, we're the only two morning people I know--so it all worked out. :)) We had a McDo meet-up at 6:15 and were done shooting by 7:45. :D Here are some of the outtakes!
