While the photo of this cup of coffee above was not taken today (it was taken a couple of weeks ago at the Museum Cafe in Greenbelt), I would like to use it to illustrate how a cup of coffee made my morning. Yes, anyone who knows me knows that I am practically caffeine-dependent; my day hasn't started until I've had a cup which might be proof that actual human energy can only get you through the first like, fifteen years of life. And today, my morning was kick-started into high gear by the rain and the lack of a bus at my usual stop. I had to take a jeep to Las Pinas to get a ride and in the pouring rain, that isn't as easy as it sounds (although, Las Pinas is pretty near here). The bus I got on was pretty crazy too; the driver kept swerving and I couldn't get myself to calm down. Ironically, when I got to class, all I felt like doing was sleeping--this didn't help me learn chemical mechanisms any easier. So the only way I knew I would survive a three-hour lab class was to go get some coffee and let me tell you--they have some pretty good 40-peso canned iced coffee at Z2 (or Zaide, as the young people say); it's called Mr. Brown which is funny because they only have the vanilla latte and no actualy brown brown coffee. But, yeah. I also hung out with my (questionably--just kidding, Lorri hahaha) male bestfriend Carlos and had a cup of coffee after class which was really nice, given the weather. :) A cup of coffee a day keeps the blues away, methinks.
Goodnight, everyone!
