Favorite Things | Reading

I was supposed to meet with my friend Jacob at 10 am today, but alas, Mr. Sandman was a bit too generous with him and he woke up around 12. Hahaha Not that I minded--Akire (my dear friend & former preditor [prose editor]) and I spent the morning talking about everything from fashion to fiction to modernism to God to Gendry's cheekbones. :))

After Akire left though, I ended up reading on the agno bench and having good old Agno iced coffee. Agno was empty and it was really nice to be back on that bench--let me explain about this bench--this bench has kept me company throughout my college life; it has been there for me through every awkward confrontation, every break-up and almost every heart-to-heart conversation I've ever had so, yes, it is a special place--it felt like home.
As I think I've mentioned on this blog a couple of times, reading is possibly my favorite thing to do in the world. I'm pretty glad actually that Jacob woke up late--I got to catch up on my reading. It soothed my stressed-out self very mucho!

Currently (still) reading: The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
