So, yeah. I wore the beautiful dark-silver/grey platforms to work today. Worn with a striped shirt that my friend Asha gave me and black trousers from Terranova (folded up).
Also, a short anecdote on these platforms' baptism by fire: as I was struggling to get out of the 711 near my office holding my laptop and 32 oz cup of pineapple juice (good stuff) and the guard just stood idling at the door, listening to something on his phone, I found that the door was too heavy for me to push with no hands and my foot caught on the other door and completely wiped out. Goodbye, pineapple juice! Thankfully, I just got a scrape on the knee--nothing serious. My laptop was also thankfully left unharmed. My goodness.
