I've Got Sunshine In A Bag

Weather like this always reminds me of that old song by Gorillaz--Clint Eastwood, I think it was entitled. I decided to play a little dress up and throw on this playful ensemble to brighten up my day. All the doom and gloom weather Manila is experiencing is seriously driving me insane. Not that I particularly enjoy the usual humid sticky weather but I absolutely abhor the continuous rain. It's fine at night but in the middle of the day, the gray sky is kind of depressing. And I'll admit, artificial lighting isn't so bad once you get the hang of it.

I hope everyone's having a great Sunday. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little less gloomy. I'm (unfortunately) spending the day indoors today thanks to the weather and a severe lack of financial wellness. :)) Also, if you like online magazines check out my feature in The Creative Xicana Fashion Daily! :) They were kind enough to pick yesterday's outfit post as one of their Top 3 stories of the day.

Brown Leather Boots

I fell in love with these brown, vintage leather boots with brass buckles. I found them at one of the thrift stores in downtown (and I mean, really downtown) Manila. They were in excellent condition (as with most of the things at that store, though so I can't say it was unexpected).

Sadly, they were a size too small for me. I swear, I had dreams about these boots. But wonderfully enough, Ate Audrey (for my dear readers who aren't from the Philippines, Ate means "big sister" in Filipino; I don't mean that I ate her) bought them from me. Amazing, amazing boots.
