Day In The Life Challenge {Day 6}

Hi, everyone! Forgive me for being a little bit MIA yesterday--I was swamped with school work and had to devote myself to figuring out how to work  this conundrum that is organic chemistry. :)) Anyway, here is yesterday's video! In a nutshell, it's me in a car, in a parking lot in Alabang talking to myself (and you beautiful people) about suburban life, being an ID 10-WHAT in a 112 world and lots of other things. :))

Hope everyone's been having a good week so far!

Day In The Life Challenge {Day 5}

No video for this one. You will learn why in a bit.

So yesternight, Keav slept over and we'd been looking forward to watching Gilmore Girls and eating dinner all day; we'd been stuck in Makati for hours and while laughing at weird people at a Coffee Bean (when you have no money to buy actual coffee) is fun, it also gets tiring. We got to my place by around 10 in the evening and lo and behold--there was baked spaghetti! So we heated a hefty amount of said wonder spaghetti and spent the rest of the night gushing over Milo Ventimiglia. At around 12, we went to sleep--because of that thing I went to the hospital for, I can't stay up past 12.

It was hard for me to sleep--I was still very much awake. And my god, I swear I should've stayed awake.

I woke up at 4:30 in the morning with the oddest feeling--like I needed to use the crapper, but not quite. So I went to my parents' bathroom and did what I thought needed to be done. And then, I felt that weird warm, salty sensation in my mouth that could mean only one thing: hello, vomit. I spent the next three hours emptying my stomach out from both ends. Disgusting. We went to the doctor at 8:00 and spent most of the day sleeping. Keav is so sweet and spent the day taking care of me (which I feel entirely guilty for)--while it was still a bit fun because (of course) we were together, I felt pretty sad most of the day because I felt like he'd come to my house to take care of me. If you're reading this, Keav: I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH. :)

But yeah. Turns out it was fucking indigestion + my acidic stomach = gastro enteritis. I can't eat anything with oil, dairy or tomatoes. So while my family is out celebrating Father's Day--Happy Father's Day to your dads, btw--at Seafood Island, I'm here at home, writing this and eating bread + softboiled eggs for dinner. :)) Hay. Everyday is surprising, no?

Day In The Life Challenge { Day 4 }

Keav and I are currently waiting at the Coffee Bean in Greenbelt 3. I came to hang out with him this afternoon, after spending most of the day in another CBTL with my good friend Gatdu, catching up. :)) Because we're stuck here waiting for my mom (who is at a wedding of a family friend's at the moment), we decided to do a little filming.

Keavin and I were reading my blog when we chanced upon a very irritating little error--I erroneously typed Breakfast In Tiffany's as opposed to Breakfast At Tiffany's in yesternight's rant entry and the implications of having breakfast inside Tiffany's (or even worse, inside Tiffany) are hilarious. Keavin proceeded to ask me to please correct the entry before he pursued reading it--because he is a grammar/spelling/punctuation (oh wait no, that last one is me) nazi of sorts. :)) Anyway, yeah! Enjoy the video! Here's Day 4!

Drinking Back, Drinking for Two

I'm in Taft early today, to meet up with my friends Akire & Trizha. My doctor's visit yesterday went pretty well--I'll write more about that today later though. Also, thank you to everyone who watched my first two Day In The Life Challenge videos (which you can find here and here). I'm posting a preview of today's Day In The Life challenge in a video below--I'm surprising my friend Akire with a care package containing all sorts of beautiful things (clothes, nail polish, books, etc.) as a comfort during this weird period in her life where she's going through this odd (not terrible, but definitely weird) break up.

The Incidentals

Do you guys know the band Alicia's Attic? :) If you do, let me know what you're favorite song is. Currently listening to The Incidentals which I think is one of the most well-written love songs of all time. And if you don't, maybe you'd like to give them a listen. :D

Today, I'm heading to the hospital because I have this weird bump on the side of my neck. It's not big enough to see but is big enough to feel, definitely. I hope it goes well--I panicked a little at first because I am quite the hypochondriac but my mom says the same thing happened to her and it usually occurs as a result from the lack of sleep/low body resistance which is me in a nutshell. :))

Also, I'm so happy because I've started posting things for the Day In The Life Challenge thing that I'm doing--everyday for at least this month, I'm going to be posting up snippets of my day  as a means of staying motivated and keeping myself from going down the oh-so-tempting my life is boring route. You can check out Day 1 & Day 2 right here on WinaWonders!

 The cut-out on the back of this sweater is definitely my favorite details about this garment. Without it, it's possibly a bit too odd and bright for my taste but it adds a bit of sex appeal to it that turns it very flattering. :)

The Day In The Life Challenge {Day 2}

Hi, everyone! So yeah. This is my Day 2 entry for the Day In The Life Challenge, which you can read up on about here. I'm really excited about this project because it's a lot of fun and I'm hoping that people will be doing this as well and that it'll help everyone keep interested and keep creative. :) You can also follow me on YouTube if you'd like, so you don't have to constantly check back here for updates on this challenge.

Today's entry is called Have Breakfast With Me! because breakfast is my favorite meal and I thought I'd share this little bit of my day with you guys. :) What're ya'll up to today?

The Day In The Life Challenge {Day1}

Recently, I've realized how difficult it is to keep inspired and keep interested in everyday life (which is really, the only life that we have). It can be hard to get up in the morning and do what you have to do, especially when you're in your twenties and transitioning from that group fun/barkada (a colloquial Filipino term for "gang" or "group of friends") age into the solo/"your own life" age. So to sort of counteract that, I've decided to make these daily vlogs (video logs) that consist of snippets of everyday life. I'd also love to hear/see/read about what you're doing so if you have a blog or a YouTube channel or hell, a Facebook account and want to join me then leave a comment below so that we can all follow you! Or if you're a little bit shy, then send me an e-mail at gmd.puangco@gmail.com or tweet me @winapuangco. :)

Today, I'm just hanging out at home thanks to my niece Presley's mini-medical emergency and my toothache c/o wisdom (ngarkngark). Today's video is a mini-room tour--all the mess is a reflection in a way of all the things I've been preoccupied with. xD

This was supposed to go up yesterday but YouTube was being difficult. Day 2 coming up!
