Q & A on a Thursday!

I only got a few messages this week (as compared to last week) and nothing about relationships--thank goodness, because while I don't mind I really don't think I'm someone you should ask about that hahaha. I've been thinking about doing a weekly giveaway to whoever has the best question--just a small trinket, like an accessory or something but something to thank people for being so great. :D Send in your questions to gmd.puangco@winawonders.com

Anne, 19 from Makati asks: What courier do you use to ship your items?

Hi, Anne! I like JRS the best. :) LBC is okay as well. When I have customers who buy things from me from the same university or a nearby university, I do meet ups but if it's someone from far away or someone I don't know, then I ship (both for the sake of safety and practicality). I've also been meaning to try Xend, because I hear it's uber reliable.

Leah, 15 from Muntinlupa asks: What's the best way to get your blog out there? I post everyday, but no one seems to be reading.

Hi, Leah! I know how you feel. That's how it was with my previous blogs--but I've found that the best thing you can do to get started is post links on Facebook and Twitter to get started. I know it can make you feel self-conscious but the truth about online media is no one's going to look at what they don't know isn't there. So, yeah. Don't post so much as to be makulit (no one likes a feed-flooder) but just to let people know that your blog is out there. :)

Andrea, 16 from Paranaque asks: What's your course? How did you decide what you wanted to pick?

Hey, Andrea! :)) Okay, so this is a very funny question because I actually shifted from AB-OSDM (Behavioral Sciences) to BS-PSYC (Psychology) because I wanted to be a doctor. No regrets, but goodness--it is such a hassle sometimes, being stuck in a degree you know you aren't going to use really (like 12 chemistry subjects "just for fun", it would seem). So yeah my advice is simple: pick a course you are good at. That way, you can graduate ASAP and build on your strengths. :) Take it from me: I suck at Chemistry and I can't complain because I chose it. So.

This week's best question goes to Libby, 14 from Alabang: How would you describe your personal style? Also, I'm pretty nerdy too and I love you called yourself that in your last post. :) Who's your favorite author?

Hi, Libby! :) I would describe my personal style the way my boyfriend Keav describes it: parang baby Lola--kiddie grown-up. I'm a huge fan of big silhouettes and knits and easy breezy fabrics paired with sort of crazy prints and stuff but because I look like a child (I'm the only one of my friends who still gets carded for buying alcohol, I swear to god) there isn't anything very edgy about the way I end up looking. But it's okay. I quite like my baby lola style and I feel comfy with that. :) I think style is more about how you feel and about cohesion of the outfit than anything else. :D And yay for nerdiness! My favorite authors (both local and not) are the following: Sharon Creech (Walk Two Moons), Jostein Gaarder (The Orange Girl), Audrey Niffeneger (Time Traveler's Wife), Conchitina Cruz (Dark Hours), Vicente Groyon (On Cursed Ground) and Siri Hustvedt (What I Loved). :D Also, since you're this week's winner, I'm giving you the vintage top that I'm wearing in the photo below:
(You can view the entire outfit post here)

And that's it for this week! :) Thank you for your questions and keep them coming!
