Brightside Entry | Sometimes Things Don't Go As Planned

Today was not my day---it's like the world was out to bend me over the bar table and you-know-what me in the you-know-where. Jeeeeez. Lemony Snickett could've written something about me. My mom forgot to wake me up, I forgot my lab gown, I thought I lost my medicine, My phone died on the way home and a customer of mine's class over extended for two hours so I didn't get to deliver her goods. And as if that wasn't enough, in an effort to upload my outfit photos today, a virus at the DLSU cybernook corrupted all my files and I had to reformat to get my camera working again. Thank you, DLSU for your wonderful technological facilities. So that's definitely a lesson for me--better late than never.

But because I'm looking on the brightside of things, I've decided to list a couple of great things about today despite my misfortunes (forgive the lack of photos harhar):

1. With regard to the lab gown thing--I at least got to borrow one from the technician, therefore not missing lab class and not failing chemistry. Yay! The experiment was also really funny and extremely pointless--we basically had to collect purified dye for three hours. xD

2. I found the medicine before going out and buying a new batch. So yay! At least I didn't waste my money. It was really annoying but also terribly fortunate.

3. I found a charging station in Town and was able to get home in time for dinner, despite a couple of mix-ups with our driver about where to pick me up.

4. Well. At least the camera is working again. Also, I've decided to re-shoot the outfit tomorrow (because I cannot get over how lovely it was) and post it up along with tomorrow's outfit of the day. I'm just relieved that the camera still works, really. I don't think someone who does this for a living can go a day without a decent camera. What would I do?

5. Last but definitely not the least, I got to spend time with the people dear to me today--thank you Trizh, Keav & Lorri for keeping me company. :)

I truly, sincerely hope everyone is having a better Monday than me. This rainy Monday is definitely getting me down. I'll also be uploading the winners of the Material Girl giveaway in a bit! Stay tuned! :)
