Rainy days have been ushering out my love for blues rock music again--those dusty The Gaslight Anthem/The National/Tom Waits/Hot Water Music records are being pulled out again. This is a little outfit post on what I wore to Carlos' graduation party yesterday. Thank you to Keav, who took these photos of me. This animal-print dress is one of the things that I bought from one of our suppliers (heehee) and is so wonderful and easy to dress up or dress down. Because yesternight was a very chillout south-side type party, I decided to throw this dress on along with my favorite pair of sneakers and this mocking bird necklace that I got from Lula Bop's. :)
Later in the evening, I decided to put on some blue tights to help dress the outfit up but unfortunately, I don't have a photo with those on--I'll gladly do a repeat sometimes this week, though. Also: the party was super fun! Great people, a bottle of Absolut, and some of the funniest conversations ever about love, life and things that people only talk about when they're inebriated: like what it is, exactly that makes this drink you can no longer taste so great.
Keavin and I got home via TAI Taxi (the best taxi service in the world) around 1:00 am and decided to watch the moon for a bit; it was so, so beautiful last night. :D Anyway, I hope everyone's had a fun, fun weekend!
Wore: animal print dress | unbranded, sneakers | vintage, necklace | Lula Bop's
It's still so difficult to process that most of the people I know have either graduated or left school due to one circumstance or the other. It's a little overwhelming but terribly exciting as well: onto the next great adventure!
