Today | Busy, Busy Bee

So today is going to be a very, very busy day. :) I just woke up and the air is already buzzing. This morning, I'm going to have brunch with Gia, one of my dearest friends from highschool/college. She works at one of the major news networks and so has to work in the wee hours of the morning (when I'm drooling on my pillow) so I hardly get to see her. :D

While at the mall (Alabang Town Center is my home, what up south) I'll have to pick up a couple of things for tonight (will definitely take photos of the outfit so I can post tomorrow). I'll also have to pick up my dad's birthday gift--Happy 65th Birthday, Daddy! And I suppose afterwards it'll be a huge primping session--women are supposed to be absolutely hair-free at these things. :))

Anyway, because today will be so busy I probably won't get to do an outfit post. Instead, I'll throw in a couple of exciting things to watch out for here at WinaWonders. :)

1. Objet D'Art for WinaWonders

Objet D'Art, is an accessory line designed by Monique Alvarez OdoƱo . Initially inspired by art nouveau, Monique is trying (through this and her more current collections) to experiment with the different aesthetics of other art movements. Personally, I love her jewelry because it's bold enough to do things that other lines haven't--they have a collection of necklaces with album covers on them and rings with the prettiest stones on them; Objet D' Art is able to channel a creative energy that I find only a couple of jewelry stores (especially online) are able to do. :)

They've given me a lot of their jewelry and the Objet D'Art for WinaWonders collection will be out officially by tomorrow, at the WinaWonders Store so definitely watch out for that. :D

2. Lula Bop

While I love the clothing that they sell and have featured them countless times on this blog, it's only recently that Lula Bop's have decided to become one of my partners here on WinaWonders. I'm so excited to see what they'll be sending me soon! :)

Lula Bop's is one of the best online vintage stores that I've been able to find. They put everything up to a standard, which I think is very very important if you're going to be selling vintage clothes--clothing with history. They take quality photos of the garments and their online store is decorated/designed in keeping with their 40s/50s theme. The people behind Lula Bop's are very, very nice people too--and that makes every transaction something to look forward too. :)

That's it for now! Have a good day everyone! :)
