Summer is definitely more fun with NIVEA SUN! My top summer wonder is San Fabian, Panggasinan.

Hey, everyone. :) Nivea's doing a campaign for the 7th Summer Wonder of the Philippines and I thought that I should put my 2 cents on the matter in, as I've just gotten back from a couple of places in the past two weeks. After much deliberation about what to write about, I've decided to go for San Fabian, Panggasinan.

One thing that struck me about my San Fabian trip was first, how beautiful the beaches were and how clean water was and second, how unreasonably sparse the number of people at the beach were. The beach front was lovely with smooth, ebony sand (forget ivory, give me that flawless ebony any day) that slipped right through your fingers--definitely no awkward sand-in-my-swimwear moments for the people of San Fabian. The tide was perfect as well: it didn't have the wild, throw-you-on-the-shore, feel-Poseidon's-wrath force of Zambales or the the-gods-of-the-sea-are-sleeping poor excuse for waves that Batangas so often offers. Not too hot, not too cold, just right. Furthermore, San Fabian is crab country--offering you not just the best place to swim but the best places to eat as well. Seafood at it's best.

Lastly, the reason I think San Fabian is perfect is that it's more or less an hour from everywhere else you'd like to go--whether it be south to Pampangga or up north to Baguio, you get the best of both worlds staying here. It's also the one place in Northern Luzon that offers you both the breeziness of our famed city in the sky, Baguio and the sunshine of the central plains. This is the only place that I mean to drive my swimsuit-clad self to this summer. <33
