Brightside Entry 6: Revolution House Magazine

One thing that I forgot to mention about dinner at Ron's apartment was that he gave me and Trizha a copy of Revolution House Magazine's first three issues. I only had a chance to read the work at work today (haha, it doesn't count as slacking off if there's nothing to do and you're exercising your brain hahaha) and wow, I was blown away.

I haven't been this moved by something short (short fiction, poems) that I've read (and I say read because I've been listening to/watching to Sarah Kay and Philip Kaye a lot recently and I really like their work) in a while. Wonderful work. That's all I can say, really.

My favorites from their first issue are "Conjoined" by Jen Marquardt and "Still Life With Moving Things" by Michael Simon. :) And that's all I will say. Check them out for yourselves here.
