After class, Keav and I went to visit his sister Jhen at The Medical City. :) Despite the human traffic on the train (killer, swear--I felt sumo wrestler) and along the EDSA walkway (Keavin wanted to punch a bunch of people), it was all in all a very good evening.
There is something about hospitals that calms me down, oddly enough. I think it is the thought that if something bad happens to you, there will be people around to fix it or help you out.
When I was 11, I had a tongue operation at The Medical City; back then it looked very shitty. I remember the rooms being very spartan and the bed being a bit rusty. But now it's beautiful: very clean and classy with quite the modern interior.
Anyway, we arrived at the hospital at around 7:30 and I finally met Keav's sister Jhen (should I call you Ate Jhen? hahaha I feel like I should, but please tell me what you prefer :)) )! She is beautiful. Unlike the pale, bony Keav, his sister is morena and quite voluptuous--also, I must stress that when I say voluptuous, I mean voluptuous, I do not mean fat--but they both have the same cat-shaped eyes and sort of arched nose. I also met the love of her life, Darlene (should I call you Ate too? I am confused about this as well hahaha :3) who was staying at the hospital with her--she is also very pretty and is very feline-like with long, slim limbs and hair until below her shoulders. :D All-in-all the atmosphere was very pleasant. We chit-chatted over Ensaymada and a bottle of mineral water. Mmmm. Simple joys.
Keav and I left around 8:15 to go have dinner before heading to Mega Mall where we met up with my Dad. :D
I took two photographs but they got corrupted and didn't save (terrible!). Next time, I shall definitely take photographs. :3
It's so nice to meet new people. :) I am very, very glad! In turn, Keav met my Dad today. A very nice encounter indeed. Ah, to be surrounded by the people you love--that is one thing that I hope I never take for granted.
